DVR - digital video recorder is the device for the conversion, recording and storage of audio and video information. Such video recorders are used in complex with analog cameras. The signal goes from the camera to the recorder where it converts to digital format, compress and record. The video compression algorithms may be different; they determine the quality of the image. In addition, video can be viewed not only with a PC, but also with a mobile device. The enabling of video recording can be scheduled or activate with motion detection or alarm event.
